Gets the job done

As I have gotten older kneading dough with my hands has become difficult. So I finally made the purchase. I was so stupid for waiting!

total disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer was bought (new, not refurbished) on November 25, 2022...Black Friday. It worked well once, mixing some dough for 8 minutes, without ever taxing the machine (using 2-out of a possible 10-as the maximum, as recommended).
Several days later, we wanted to use it again and this time the machine was/is totally dead. So, after 8 minutes of use, this machine is now awaiting its replacement from KitchenAid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
