Not like the first one I had for over 20 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very noisy. No spring to hold paddle and other attachments. I would not have bought another kitchen aide if I knew they lowered the quality instead of improving it after all these years. Very disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great power and options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has food alergies and we need to make a lot of foods at home. Some recipes require very thick items to be mixed. We bought this mixer and it is a dream come true. so much power and so many options. We have expanded our cooking efforts just for the joy of it. i have wanted one of these mixers for a long time, I'm so glad I finally got one!!

I bought my mixer and after 12 loaves, I am pleased to say my arm doesn't ache at all from mixing batter...I'm still harvesting.
