Dough perfection

We used to buy bagels at the store, but since we are now able to make home-made bagels using our stand mixer, we've skipped the store-bought bagels. The dough comes together perfectly in a few minutes using the dough hook and the rest of the process flows with little effort. Glad we made this purchase!

Awesome machine, missing spring & nut attachment

There is a spring and nut where the attachments go that is not on the newer models. Is it possible to get that part, and can you let me know why it’s not part of the equipment anymore?

Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new mixer. Had a very old one for 40 years, and it was not powerful. KitchenAid mixer is powerful, and I saw this as I made bread the first time. It powered through dough and made that part of breadmaking much easier.
