Fun in the kitchen

I enjoy baking again. Since I lost a lot of my arm strength during my hospital stay of 7 months. The kitchen aid mixer solve my problem of stirring. I make cookies again with my granddaughter.

Big Great Mixer!

The Artisan series mixer does everything you would want it to. I even made bread! Talk about becoming domesticated. My only complaint, and it is purely my own fault, I ordered black, why did I order black with all the great colors available? I'm looking forward to experimenting with me, the mixer, and new recipes.

So Many Options!

I love my Kitchen aid Artisan mixer! I use it to make everything from bread dough to whipped cream. I also have the shredder/slicer attachment for coleslaws or slicing salami. I'm looking forward to collecting the other attachments. I love the idea of only having one machine, but letting it cover all the food prep tasks.

I love my tilt-head stand mixer. Now I can start mixing something that takes a while and still do other prep work while the mixer does it's thing. The many varied speeds are great.

I have wanted a Kitchenaid since my kids were young but I grew up in an era where you "make due, use it up, or go without." A Kitchenaid mixer was always on my wish list. I had an Oster kitchen center and it worked but it was kind of like driving an Oldsmobile and eyeing up the Cadillac!
I am now a grandma of two beautiful children and we are making new memories at Grandma's house while I teach them the value of passing down traditions to their own children someday! Thank you Kitchenaid!
