Great, but with a little bit noise

It is a great mixer, but the vibration is a little bit bigger than my expectation.

We had been eyeballing one of these for awhile. Found a great deal and took the plunge. Love that we can add accessories (slicer and grinder). They're not cheap, but it should last us a good many years.

My only regret is that I didn't buy one of these years ago. I make lots of bread and have spent hundreds of dollars on bread makers, none of which have lasted more than two years.
Although my primary reason for buying it was dough-making, it's quickly become an indispensable kitchen appliance.

I was beside myself with joy receiving my very own kitchenaid stand mixer. it works great for everything i've used it for so far, but darn that thing is heavy. that's way i gave it 4 stars instead of 5

Way better than expected

I have used my mixer to make several batches of cookies. The last batch had very thick dough - what a relief to not have to struggle with a hand mixer and a wooden spoon. This mixer makes mixing so very easy. I love the way the mixer is so heavy that it never moves when I flip the mixer back and then back down. The metal bowl is really thick and sturdy. Nothing cheap or flimsy. This is really the best it could be.
