Love My Kitchen Aid Mixer

I have owned a kitchenaid mixer for many years. I basically bought a new one to get the colored version. Plus mine was getting old and I just wanted a new one. I absolutely love my kitchen aid. The color is exactly as it was pictured. They have so many colors to pick from. It's a very heavy duty machine and will last a lifetime. I got a good price on it also. They really aren't a whole lot more than when I bought mine many years ago. A very dependable product. The only thing that disappoints me is the plastic pour shield. It isn't any better than my very old one. I thought maybe by now they would design one that would not throw flour everywhere and fits loosely. It comes out underneath it. Other than that, great mixer.

Somehow I figure out how to use my kitchen aid mixer even if it's just for simple things! Makes cooking/baking so much more easy and stress free. Highly recommend the artisan !

Until Christmas, I had used the same mixer for 41 years and thought it was the greatest. But the Kitchenaid has so much more power and requires less than half the mixing time for a batch of cookies. The directions are easy to understand and the mixer is easy to use. The beater is much easier to clean. It's really great!

I got this mixer as a Christmas present, thanks mom and dad! It is excellent. The attachments it comes with are enough to get started with. The cover has definitely come in hang when mixing liquids and keeping them from splashing all over my counters. I tend to make a lot of ice cream so I bought the ice cream attachment for myself (my love for that device is another review, spoiler alert, it is amazing, IF you take care of it), and use the stand mixer to mix together all the ingredients before pouring them into the ice cream attachment. The motor is awesome and does a fine job at turning the ice cream attachment for the 20 minutes it needs.
My only complaint is that I wish the mixing attachments reached about 1/4 inch further down in the bowl. When making frostings and the ice cream batter I have to stop the mixer to use a spatula to get all the cream cheese to incorporate into the batters.

What a fabulous addition to my kitchen!

I waited for years for this mixer.....and am so happy I finally have one. I really like all the color choices (I chose persimmon, and it is beautiful!). I am more of a cook than a baker, but my kids are hoping that those two will even out a bit more now that I have this wonderful mixer. I am very impressed at the ease of how the attachments go on and off. Looking forward to exploring all that this appliance can do!

I love my new kitchenAid! I bought it so my daughter and I can have fun in the kitchen while we cook and it worked!! It takes so much work out of prepping. Just set-up and go.
