Ive always wanted one and finally got one for my birthday. It goes beyond my expectations, I use it all the time. The attachments are awesome, as well.

Christmas and have enjoyed using it immensely. The only problem has been that it is more powerful than I was used to so I had to learn to throttle the power back.

My whole family has had kitchen aid mixers my whole life! When I got engaged I had to get one! I will forever have a kitchen aid mixer!

I got this mixer for my birthday and have really gotten great use out of it. I have made quick boxed sweets and have made tons of bread with the kneading dough hook. I'm sure I haven't even discovered all of the possibilities.

I bought the 5-Quart Artisan as a birthday gift for my wife. As time goes on though I seem to keep using it more and more as more uses become apparent. I will warn you'll become attachment collectors and finding a way to store them all can be a pain but so far we've been thrilled with all of them including the ones I bought for myself!
