I finally bought myself one and I don't know why I waited so long I absoutley love it , it makes baking and preparing recipes a breeze. Can't live with out it!!
I bought a 6 at bowl up Epicurian model mixer a long time ago and love the strength and durability of it, but when I am making multiple breads, cookies or desserts I wanted another mixer so I didn't have to stop and wash all the bowls etc. So I purchased the 5qt Artesian model and love this one too. I am not a stranger to kitchenaid as I have the 14 cup food processor also and love that too except for the lids removable shoot section it is very hard to wash and dry. Wish there was a different design to make it easier.

I love this product. I have always wanted one, my mother and grandmother had one of these and we always used it for everything. I am so happy that I finally got to have one too.
I received my Artisan Kitchenaid from my son for my birthday in December (I know, what a gift!) and I absolutely love it. I impressed him by preparing most of Christmas day brunch with it when they all came to visit, great for pancake mix. I tried most of the recipes now from the cookbook that came with it, using the different attachments as well, and was very pleased with the outcome.
I purchased the mixer at Christmas for myself. Since then, I have been experimenting, mostly with bread dough, pizza dough and cakes/frostings. I love trying new things, and it makes the process of mixing so quick and effortless. I find that it does vibrate a bit, and the lockdown lever works itself loose if I don't watch closely. Easy to clean.
I have wanted this mixer for a very long time and I received it as a Christmas gift. I have not been disappointed, I love it!! Can't wait to buy some of the additional attachments.
I finally treated myself to the stand mixer of my dreams. As a confirmed baker, I wanted to see how much time and effort this machine would save on my typical challah braid, pizza crust and cake recipes. The mixer does a great job kneading dough, saving my hands from that work and freeing my time for cleanup. As the instructions say, you do have to stop the machine and scrape the bowl to get the bottom incorporated, but that's a minor inconvenience .
