I made this purchase a few months ago, I had never been a baker and wanted to try...so I figured I might as well buy the best and get started. I have enjoyed learning my way around the Kitchen Aid since. Trying new recipes, even ventured to do a home-made cheese cake (which turned out perfect) This Kitchenaid has boosted my confidence and my family is very greatful for the sweets and homemade breads. Thank you Kitchenaid for bringing my new hobby to an all time high, you see I'm 61 and loving this new smell in my kitchen! Thank you connie rose trushel
I bought my mixer about 5 months ago, I love it I've used more than I thought I would :) The kids ask everyday what can we make in the mixer tonight mom !!
I got my new mixer as a Christmas gift - without thinking I got rid of the old one, also a kitchenaid, BIG MISTAKE!!! I HATE the new spill lip design. My old one was two pieces with a pour spout. This is a single piece with a spot for it to fit against the mixer in the back. If you are not mixing flour, etc., slowly, you have an entire mess on your counter. The flour blows out of the bowl from that empty cutout and is terrible. It is also a pain to wash. The old one was two pieces and you could fit them nicely on the top rack of your dishwasher. NOT THIS ONE... Takes up a ton of room on the top shelf. Had I known, I would have kept the old style and given the new one away. It is also making a clicking noise in the middle speeds....
I was given my mixer for Christmas from my boyfriends family. Wanted one for years. Was one handed for awhile due to surgery and loved to know I could still bake and cook thanks to my mixer!!
Well it's been almost 6 months since my purchase of the Kitchenaide Artistan Mixer and I am so delighted to say I have it uncovered so everyone who enters the Kitchen can see it being proudly displayed. I give it rave reviews. I mixed my cakes and cookies the old fashioned way, " it's called hand muscle power". I was convinced that an electric mixer would dry out my delicious HOMEMADE sweets. Boy was I wrong. It was well worth the money.
I bought this a few months ago and I absolutely love it. I had to replace my prior Kitchen Aid but had that one for close to 30 years. If you want a great mixer, this is the one to purchase.
