Love My mixer!

My husband bought me this mixer for Christmas and I love it! I'm a mom and so of course that also makes me a baker by proxy. Before I was using a $10 hand mixer and it just wasn't up to the challenge. The only complaint I have is that the mixer blades don't quite scrape the sides of the bowl as well as I would like.

I got this as a wedding present. The mixer has a wonderful motor, and I tested some limits within the first week of receiving it. It does a great job on small bread/pizza doughs, but much more than a few cups of flour on such a thick dough is too much. The lock holding the tilting lit in place gets forced open and the whole head may bounce open if the dough is too thick. It is perfect for quick breads and smaller cookie batches.

I got the kitchen aid for Christmas. I have been wanting one for a long time. I like that the mixer turns itself because my last mixer didn't. I love the fact that I can buy the attachments to make my own pasta, and grind my own meat. It looks good too and I got it my color.
