I am 66 years old and have wanted this mixer for many years, especially during the years my children were at home. Nevertheless, I am so happy to have it now. We did a kitchen remodel and added the mixer at that time. It has rejuvenated my interest in cooking and enjoyment to my life...and my husband's meals!

It's Heavy but great

I received the Stand Mixer as a gift. Recently, my arthritis has worsened and I can no longer stir simple things. The mixer now allows me to still create great desserts and breads. With the attachments that came with the mixer I can do most things. I can even make bagels which we love. The challenge that we have is that we do not really have the counter or cabinet space to store the mixer when not in use so it goes to the back room. Since the mixer is really heavy I have to ask my husband to bring it to the kitchen.
That being said, attaching the mixing blade and other utensils is a snap and clean-up is a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have always wanted a Kitchenaid Mixer. Mu husband and three daughters bought it for me for my birthday this year. When I opened my gift, it brought tears to my eyes. I love to bak and I bake from scratch so this was a marvelous gift.

I use this mixer pretty much every week. I have been surprised at how powerful the motor is. I use it for pizza dough and it makes it easy!

This is the 3rd Kitchenaid Artisan mixer I've had. The first one was one my mother had and used for eons and it finally wore out. My second one just got given to my daughter as she moved into her first house and I purchased this one to replace it.
The 2nd one has been in use over 14 years and still looks like new and performs like new!!
Can't recommend these mixers enough for all your kitchen needs. They are easy to use, completely reliable for any recipe!

I love this mixer! I used to have one and gave it away when I was moving cross-country. I was so happy to receive a new one as a Christmas gift! It makes baking so easy!
