I purchased my mixer around the holidays. I had always wanted one for the last 2 years. I FINALLY GOT ONE!! I was so excited since I plan on making Gingerbread houses for our next holidays. I am only purchasing quality products to work with my other new appliances since I would like to write a cookbook when I retire. KITCHENAID YOU ROCK!!!

I have been resisting the temptation to buy the mixer but I am ever so enjoying it. I have made, pizzelles, biscotti, italian wedding cookies, and pizza dough. Everything was so less time consuming, that is the biggest bonus. Let me make a plug for King Arthur flour which I just discovered. It is the best.

Absolutely love this mixer! This is my second one. I wore my other one out. I am a pink fanatic and this matches my kitchen perfectly. It's the first thing people comment on when they walk into my kitchen.I highly recommend this mixer, it does not die easily! It keeps going and going. Enjoy!

Love my mixer!

This was a Christmas present, and I'm glad I got it. The only thing I would change is that I wish the bowl was a bit wider so you could add stuff while mixing easier. Especially with the ice cream maker attachment, it is very difficult to add stuff to the bowl while mixing without making a huge mess.
The mixer and all of the attachments I've gotten for it so far are very easy to use, and easy to clean up. I love this mixer.

Its just so different. I've used a hand mixer for so many years - that this big bulky thing is kinda foreign. Is there perhaps a video that shows the strengths of the product? There is just the two of us - so I don't have many big mixer items ??? I hate scraping the sides, and hate that there's always some stuff in the crevices of the bottom.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
