I love it but....

I received this for Xmas from my loving wife and overall am very happy with it. It looks great and does a great job mixing things. The bowl capacity is quite adequate for anything I might want to make. The construction is very solid. My only complaints are that the whip attachment gets bent very easily and makes a lot of noise scraping against the bowl, and that since they have made an improved mixing blade that scrapes the sides of the bow!, I wonder why they don't make that a standard item with the mixer. Other than those two complaints, I think it's great! We'll have to see if it lasts as long as it's reputation. I don't think that will be a problem.

Great Wedding Gift

Easy to use. Very durable. I've been experimenting with it and am happy with the results. My only complaint is that I wish my bowl was bigger. I love being able to walk away from it and multi task!

I purchased the Imperial Black shortly after the holidays. Looks fantastic on my counter, and does not show fingerprints! I love it for homemade banana bread and meatloaf. Have also since purchased the shredder/slicer attachment. LOVE! Now my husband requests scalloped potatoes on a weekly basis! Nothing to it! Slice enough to make 2 batches at once and have them for the next few meals. Was apprehensive too spend so much money on another appliance that would not get so much use. In a few months, have all ready justified the cost because I use it all the time. Even my 7 year old says "that's a pretty handy tool!" And it is! It makes somewhat intimidating and time-consuming dishes seem easy. I even made my own coleslaw...in not so many minutes! It motivates me to make things for my family I would not have tried before.

Kitchen Aid still doesn't disappoint!

I'm very pleased with my new 5 qt mixer! I like the bigger bowl and it is always one of my most used appliances. My last Kitchen Aid mixer lasted for 40 years so I will be expecting this one to last that long also!

I've always wanted a Kitchenaid Mixer but could never afford one. My Oster "died" a couple months ago and was fortunate to have enough "mad money" stashed away. I LOVE MY NEW ARTISAN SERIES 5-QT. MIXER. JUST LOVE IT. It is so easy to use. My family and friends love my cookies,cakes and Belgeum Waffles. Thank you so much for such a wonderful appliance.
