Am very pleased with the mixer. Have made cookies, cakes, breads and it mixed very good. It was nice not having to mix anything by hand.

My family bought this for me for Christmas, they gave it to me early so I could make them cookies. It works great. WE did need to adjust the mixing arm, to get maximum function, and it's great!

one problem

love love love my machine very easy to do everything and great for doing everything but didn't know that you cant put both bowl and wire whip in freezer to get both cold to do whip cream.
before with my old handheld(it wasn't a kitchenaid and had stainless steel beaters) I could put both in and tasted fine but with kitchenaid whip it is aluminum so it tasted like aluminum. so remember...

This is the best buy I've ever made. I am a Grandma of 14 Great grandma of 9. Now this means I do a lot of baking and cooking for my group. This also means I am not a spring chicken, I have never had a mixer That did so many things and do them so well.I LOVE IT .Made my life a lot easier THANK YOU Kitchenaid

My husband and kids bought this for me as an early Christmas present and they have been reaping the rewards ever since! It is so much easier now to whip up our favorite recipes in no time. I can put everything in order in my mixer and have my hands free to move on to the next step, or prep for the next step. I can be on the other side of the kitchen getting eggs or at the sink washing up but my Kitchenaid is still working for me, whisking up a yummy treat! It really saves me time in the kitchen. I can't believe I've been using a hand mixer all this time and thought I was happy.

great surprise

Finally decided to update my 40year old sunbeam mixer. Wasn't sure I would like ot scraping or turning the bowl. I was in for a happy surprise. I love mykitchenaid. Wish I had it for 40 years.
