My boyfriend got me the stand mixer for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I am always finding new ways to use it. It also makes food preparation easier with two children wanting to always help.

Love this mixer

This mixer is so versatile. I have a recipe from my Mother-in-Law for a bread dough that I used to have to mix and knead by hand. It was very difficult and sticky and although everyone loved the finished product I always dreaded making it. Now with my mixer, it is a breeze. The mixer does all the work. Now I too can enjoy it. I also use it for making cakes (especially cheesecake), mashing potatoes and a host of other things too numerous to mention. It is so extremely made and easy to use. It will be passed on to my daughter when I pass and hopefully to her daughter after that. It will be a treasured family heirloom that will bring back great memories.

Kichenaid 5qt tilt head mixer

This is the 5th Kitchenaid mixer I have purchased. I first purchased a 6qt and loved it however is was to heavy and bulky for me to handle. (The older you get the less you can lift), so I gave it to my son and his wife and they love it. I then purchased a 5qt large non-tilt stand mixer, and again it became too heavy for me. So I gave it to my daughter and her husband. So I purchased this 5qt tilt-head stand mixer which fits under my cupboards (which the others did not) and it's wonderful. I use it all the time and enjoy it immensely. Oh and not to play favorites we then bought a kitchenaid 5qt tilt-head stand mixer for my other daughter and her family. We are all thoroughly enjoying them and have become a kitchenaid family.. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

I've been wanting this mixer ever since I used to watch Martha Stewart use it on her show years ago. It was never available at the time, so you can imagine my excitement when it came out in the stores. It was always too expensive to get for myself so this past Christmas my boyfriend bought it for me. It's amazing and it never fails.
