Why Did I Wait?

I had been using a hand mixer my grandmother left me for years (sentimental value) and when it started to short out while baking Christmas cookies this year I knew it was time to replace it. I LOVE my new mixer! I use it several times a week. It's become a habit to make fresh bread on Sunday morning for myself and friends. And the cleanup is such a breeze.

I bought this a few months ago after a lifetime of wanting ( or so it seemed ) I got it in watermelon, love the color! I find myself making reasons to bake and cook now just so I can use it! Best investment ive made in my kitchen as of now! I hope to be using this for a long time

I love my stand mixer! Not only do I use it for baking but mashed potatoes have never been easier.
I would put two suggestions out there for improvement but neither impacts my opinion of the appliance or Kitchenaide. First if there were a way to make it dishwasher safe that would be great and second if there was a way to get a snug fit between the bowl and the pour guard that would be appreciated.
Overall I love it!

Love the hands-free food prep!

I really like my new Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer. It's great for mixing things up and not having to stand there holding the mixer the whole time. The only drawback for me is that I am left-handed and it is set up for a right-handed person. Makes adding ingredients a little awkward.

Baking is a whole new world now!

I have always hated baking. It was always so tedious to me, having to hold the mixer, find somewhere to set it while I added ingredients, trying not to make a mess with the ingredients all over the mixer blades... It is totally different with a Kitchenaid mixer, SO much easier and actually FUN! This thing is beautiful, heavy duty, worth every penny! I love baking and cooking if it involves using this mixer!

I have wanted one of these for so long, but refused to pay the price they wanted for one. My boyfriend got me it for Christmas and I wish I hadn't been so cheap LOL. I absolutely love it. I make my own puppy treats for the 2 new little additions to our family, as well as home made ice cream with the ice cream attachment he also bought me for Christmas. It whips up bread dough with little effort and turns out great. It does all the work and in little time, easy to clean up and looks great sitting on my counter. I have gotten a few other attachment for it the grinder, juicer and sausage tubes, hoping summer will get here soon to make home made brats and burgers!!
