I bought this for my fiancé and I and we both couldn't be happier. As new homeowners we have been using our mixer nonstop and now as our cooking skills improve we can't wait to start purchasing more accessories for more advanced cooking.

Nothing! I purchased the Artisan to be used primarily for bread making. I did a lot of research and read many reviews from bread people. I selected this model for purported reliability, volume and power.
As I have only had it for a month or so I cannot report on reliability but I have had zero problems. I love the simplicity, usability and capacity. Kneading is performed very well and I achieve elasticity and pass the window pane test very quickly.
I am very satisfied and recommend this product. Now if someone would just invent a steam injector to go in a home oven:)

I like how fast it mixes everything, however it is a little inconvenient to scrape down the sides when it is necessary. Sometimes you have to remove the mixing blade to get at the sides and this can be very messy..

I already owned a kitchenaid classic which I am still using for 20+ years. I just decided to up grade. It is a wonderful product. It just makes baking so much easier.

I bought this because I went and lived at my parents house as they were in bad health and my mother has a heavy duty Kitchenaid mixer. It just made life in the cooking department so much easier!

I've never had a stand mixer and I am thrilled with my first one. I haven't had a chance to do a bunch with it but my first efforts were great. 2 batches of cookies and 2 loaves of bread were really easy to prepare.
