I received this as a gift & it was a replacement for a similar mixer that I had & used extensively for over 15 years. never had a problem with "old" one but then it just stopped working. I hope this new mixer is made to the same specs as that one was, if it is it will last a long time & serve me well!

Good for up to two loaves of bread

I have been using the mixer for 5 months to make 6-12 loaves of bread per week. It handles up to two loaves of dough nicely, but will get very warm after three batches in a row. I would like to try the spiral dough hook to see if it improves performance. Definite improvement to hand kneading.

A classic necessity

I grew up using my Mom's Kitchenaid in our family kitchen quite a few times a week. Upon getting married and hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my home, my Mom bought me my own Kitchenaid as an early Christmas present. Hers never let me down, and I don't anticipate mine ever will either. It's a great size for double and triple batches, and having 3 different mixing attachments has proven very convenient. If you want a reliable mixer, this is the way to go!

Makes baking fun

I got my mixer in December and I love making everything from cookies to meatballs with it. Its easy to use, easy to clean, and looks awesome on my counter!

Love my Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer

My husband purchased this for me for Christmas 2013. I have always wanted one because my mom has one and has used it for 30 years. I was so happy when he gave it to me. I have used to make my moms home cakes and pies as well as box mixes and it has made baking so much easier. I LOVE MY KITCHEN AIDE!! Thanks to my hubby.
