The bowl seems rather light and flimsy, but the machine is excellent

What I've wanted for years

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Don't be like me and waste your money buying other hand or stand mixers. I am 40 years old and went through 3 hand mixers (still have one) and 1 stand mixer before finally getting the kitchen aid stand mixer. It is so nice to make whipped cream, just put your ingredients in, turn it on and go work on something else in the kitchen. The all metal design and powerful motor will definitely make it last. When my daughter gets her first place, I will buy her one as a house warming present, and some day will be able to pass mine down to my oldest granddaughter. I love that you get three attachments standard and look forward to getting additional attachments, like the ice cream maker! It looks pretty on my counter. I also love the recipes they mail me after registering my product.

No more hand mixer

I had used a hand mixer for many years and thought I didn't need a stand version. This is so much easier to work with and the kids enjoy helping. My one complaint is the way the beater that came with my model left hard-to-reach batter on the sides of the bowl. I bought the flex edge beater and like that much better. It would be nice if that came with the mixer.

Wonderful Mixer!

In the past I have had a couple of mixers but this one is takes the cake! This mixer is great for my pizza dough I use for gluten free mixes, and cake mix. I haven't had the time to really have fun with this mixer, but I will this summer! I rate this mixer at 5 stars. P.S. My best friend bought herself one too after she saw mine in action and she is so happy she saw mine.

Great Product

I received this for a Christmas present from my husband. I'm so happy he got this mixer for me. It is so easy to use. I love to make bread, but it has been hard for me to knead the dough with my rheumatoid arthritis, this mixer kneads the dough for me its great. I use it for most everything now.

I never thought I would use a stand mixer, but when my hand held mixer finally bit the dust, I decided I would give it a try. I can't believe how much I love this mixer! It is so easy to use, I find myself looking for reasons to bake something. I chose the green apple color and I absolutely love it! This mixer not only works amazingly, it is also one device sitting on my kitchen counter that actually looks beautiful.

Not quite as heavy duty as I thought

Bought this for a Christmas present. I use it to make bread, making 4 loaves at a time. Too much dough to handle, so I cut it down to 2 loaves at a time. Still too much, both in terms of bowl capacity and motor power. The motor struggles with two loaves worth of dough, and the dough, as it is kneaded in the bowl, gets too big and goes over the top of the part where the bread hook is attached. Now I just use it until just before it goes over, where I then take out the dough and knead it myself. Wish I had bought the bigger model.
