[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything I’d hoped it would be! Bought for mixing sourdough bread , easy to use, mixes completely. I would recommend it to anyone who makes homemade bread. Does exactly what it says it would in the ads I viewed .
As a huge kitchenaid fan, I was so excited when I decided to make the move from my 15 year old Artesian Tilt Head to the 7 Quart Bowl-Lift. I wanted to upgrade for additional size for larger batches and for bread and pasta making. Ive had this for 2 years and feel like the motor struggles when making pasta or bread. My older machine works better. Additionally the wire whisk I received is the wrong one. its taken me this long to finally do something about it. And lastly, the pin that secures attachments is awful on my machine. You can't get it fully tight. The Scale and Sift that I purchased flew off the machine and broke due to this issue. I thought it was user error till my pasta attachments were starting to fall off. Needless to say, this is either a bad egg or a bad model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase KitchenAid originally had a chip in the base underneath a bowl. Upon calling them because I'm 3 weeks out of warranty they're not offering to help me out. On top of that it's not just a chip but it's actually rust coming through the paint like they didn't put a proper primer before they painted them
This was one of the first things I purchased off our wedding registry after our wedding and I love it! I have enjoyed making a lot of bread, tortillas, cookies, etc. with it. I had a hand-me-down 5Qt. tilt-head KitchenAid mixer for the last 7 years, and upgrading to this was a game changer! I love that all the attachments that I had for the old mixer integrate with this one (this machine handles them like a pro) and the 7 Qt capacity allows me to make double batches of bread & cookies, which are a necessity in our house! I was torn between this color and the milkshake color, and I am so glad I went with the blue! The matte finish of the blue and stainless give a nice pop of color in my kitchen without it being too flashy. The splash guard that pop onto the sides of the bowl and the 1/2 speed are also great when you are having to gradually add flour or liquid ingredients because the splash guard doesn't move (my old machine had one that just floated around on top of the bowl) and the 1/2 speeds lets you get the ingredients mostly incorporated before increasing the speed to fully incorporate. Overall, I couldn't recommend a better machine for looks, functionality, and features!
Sucks. Used once and it died, never to start again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have to say it ia ridiculous how hard it is to remove the bowl and to out it back. Also I noticed the lift rod was already flimsy before using and wouldnt hold properly. Bowl would fall constantly and ultimately the cheap plastic clip that holds it broke off in the middle of mixing. I had to hand knead the rest by hand. I cannot believe these machines are this expensive and ao cheaply made. So unfair. I hope they dont give me issues with my return/credit.
