it's not heavvy so if you have someone to help you hold it in place it's fairly straightforward and relatively easy to install yourself.

I chose this hood because it is dishwasher safe and economical. My earlier attempts with other range hoods proved to be a hassle to clean and pricey

Fianlly replaced my hood vent with this cosmo range hood. i'm so happy that I no longer have a problem with a smelly kitchen after cooking, this unit sucks up all the smoke.

Looks classy very simple to operate. Just don't expect to strong suction when running ductless but this gets the job done for me for everyday cooking.
