This printer is excellent, once I figured out how to use the zeen to change time and date , I may have missed it in the directions, every thing else was fine. The printer works as advertised, even my technically challenged wife likes using it and all of our kids love it. Lets just say, after purchasing this printer, if it was'nt up to the job, there would have been a fight in my house ( smile). I would definitely purchase more HP products.

I researched this product and read a number of reviews that concerned me about the Zeen. However, I thought the printer was a good buy and the Zeen would be a nice amenity if it worked OK. Initially, I had many of the problems that others had; not waking up from sleep, trouble staying connected to the internet, couldn't access additional apps. I did not call HP support but rather started to look at all the settings. What it needed and is not clear to many is an update. As soon as my update was installed the Zeen worked perfectly and still does. HP needs to include update instructions in their install procedure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The printer features work fine. Setup was very easy.
I am still confused about wired vs wireless connection to PC.
Speed is the determining factor.
For now I am using wired but the wireless light keeps blinking
and I still am trying to determine how it can be turned off.
Photos reproduce beautifully. I have always used HP printers
and upgrade about every 3 years.

Setup was a breeze. Use of the zeen for the video install tutorial was very clever and simple. Clearly lots of thought went into the overal experience, including the nice eco-touch of reusable bag that the printer itself came in.
Printer works great, easy to use, great color and detail, fast, quiet. Like the separate paper trays for document and photo paper. Looks nice in a home office and not too bulky.
Zeen kept dropping the wireless until I updated and still doesn't hold onto it very well. Zeen is sluggish as a tablet but I like the idea and direction and its usable for core purpose. For example, took flash card out of camera, put it in the zeen, was presented with grid of pictures on the card, selected to print. Obvious and effortless! Regard zeen as a bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I reviewed a lot of wireless printers before making this purchase. This is my first printer so I wanted to do it right. I was truly was looking for a printer with a fax. I think I might hit gold. Since this is my first purchase of a printer, and the only thing I was use fo was a old lexmark. Don't get me wrong even though I haven't had a printer of this caliber there still a few snags, but not enough for a bad review. I'm still getting use to it, because I only been two weeks since purchasing. Everything works the print, fax, copy, and scan. It also makes beautiful pictures. The thing I'm most impressed with is the 7" detachable zeen. I love this baby tablet like feature. I Wanted a wireless printer so I could print from my ipone 4, and now the zeen has taken over my web and email surfing when I'm home, ratber than using my phone. This is a great feature for this printer. I just hope I can say this a few years from now.

The detachable 7" color touch display had sever problems connecting in the docking station.

This is a great printer, I was nervous based on the reviews but I have had no problems. Took 20-30 minutes to set up following the easy to read instructions and I was printing in no time. I believe the bad experiences might have came from some people not following the setup instructions but Im not sure. For me this has been a great printer. I purchased primarily to use the airprint feature with my IPad and it works flawlessly. I have yet to print wirelessly and there not be a signal available as I read in a few other reviews. This printer has the best photo quality of any HP printer I have owned in the past. My last printer was a canon which was ok but it used tons of ink for few prints and the quality was not as good as the HP. I will never own anything but an HP from this point forward for my printing needs.
