Good features - Does not print evelopes!
on March 28, 2014

I saw the printer in Fry's. It was a good price and it was wireless. It has printed my letters and papers just fine. In order to set up the machine it needs a wired connection to the computer, be forwarned, but I am not an expert.
In the store I saw that it had an envelope feed on the paper tray. For me, envelope printing is important. I thought that the feed slot meant that the printer would print envelopes. It does not, really, unless you think that wrinkled and ironed envelopes are acceptable. In order to print even modestly acceptable envelopes, they have to be opened up with the flap open, face up in the tray. They still come out with ironed-in paper wrinkles. There is no manual feed, apparently, to avoid the sharp bending that causes the wrinkles.
My inkjet printer prints good reproductions on plain paper, this printer, not so much.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Overall pretty good. Issues with Google Cloud Print in the beginning but since plugging the printer directly into the router, it has been resolved.
Pros: features, innovative
Cons: no duplex printing

Toner is too expensive.

The printer itself is okay, works well for documents. The cost of replacing all four toners is more than the price of a new printer which makes it too expensive to maintain this printer. Throw the printer away when you run out of toner, it's cheaper to just buy a new printer. Toner should be half the price currently charged.
Cons: too expensive to operate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product appear sleek

Printer is sleek. However there is a catch. Paper tray produces out, so in effect we have to take into account the length to the printer measurement. Looks very odd, that is takes of the appeal. Does printer automatically goes into sleep mode? I did not use the printer overnight. But I see the power button glowing, does it mean it did go into sleep mode. There is a echo button. Could not find the documentation in the quick help as to the importance of them. There is so much repetition in the quick help in different languages. Useless. What is useful is put the CD and go through prompts.
For the Wifi option, it says turn off the internet from the computer. It does not work. Your computer has to be connected to your router, only then it works.
It does not show the option to connect to Ethernet port of your router for Network connection. for completeness. Only shows USB and Wifi.
Overall setup was complete in one go using CD. So open things in my mind are
1. Does printer goes to Sleep mode so it saves power
2. What is the importance of Eco
3. What is the importance of WPS button after it is already connected to Wifi and working.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Not high def, paper tray protrudes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cardstock = 43 lb max? & Thin walled paper tray

I purchased this product with a price significantly less than MSRP. Overall the printer was good for the first few sheets. Then when we needed to print some card stock, I soon found out that Samsung considers card stock 32-43 lb stock. Um, thats maybe thick paper in my book! Card or cover stock is 65-110 lb in my book!
In addition to the lack of printing thick paper, the paper tray has thin walls and I know this would break in the next few months if I kept the printer. Needless to say its going back.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great quality on prints, especially pictures from my Phone! I love how I can print off my phone with this printer also. Great price! The only reason why I put 4 stars for performance is because sometimes my phone doesn't connect properly, could be my Wifi though.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!
