The excellence only Kitchenaid can provide!

The excellence I've known from Kitchenaid for four decades! I don't understand the one-star reviews. I could not be happier! The accessories fit the bowl perfectly without adjustment. It is noticeably quieter than my last Kitchenaid (which worked for 30 years!). Even at speed 10 it is quiet, does not wobble or walk on the counter. Excellent all-around!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Second One Broke After 45 Seconds of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was mixing meat for meatballs for the second time. Both broke after 45 seconds of use. Do not buy until KitchenAid figures out these issues. AVOID

Poor Quality Control - Failed in First Two Minutes
on January 10, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start with saying I love using KitchenAid Mixers. I'm on my fifth one. This one failed the first two minutes of operation. I'm told it is a faulty speed control board which my guess is, KitchenAid received defective ones. Stuff happens with anything mechanical. This could be avoided by testing the mixers, under normal load before shipping them to be sold. At this price point and with the reputation that was developed over many years, KitchenAid needs to fix this. Just my honest opinion. The mixer was sent back for a refund. I ended up purchasing from a different supplier and the 6 quart model. This 6 quart has worked perfectly no issues.

Very disappointed with the 7 quart bowl lift model
on January 9, 2026

This is my second mixer and my first lift model. The first mixer I had for 40 years and was tilt back model. Yes it still works. I decided to upgrade because I wanted a larger bowl capacity and I thought I 'deserved' a new one. I was very disappointed. The bowl does not easily come off the stand and I have to grab it with 2 hands and it takes several tries to get the back button to secure in the hole. It is so hard to handle the bowl I dread having to take it off for any reason other than to wash it.

This was a Christmas gift; I wish for more than one size bowl to mix in one pint of cream in that big bowl is lost. I cannot get the bowl to lock in place; I have to get my husband or daughter to push down on the back to lock in place. Which means I can only cook or use the mixer when someone else is here. User friendly it is not.

Mixer feedback

Very powerful mixer that is excellent in making yeast bread. I wish the work bowl was easier to insert in the back. The metal clip looks flimsy and I am concerned that it could easily fatigue and break.

Better design for serious bakers

I haven't fully utilized my new mixer yet, but I already love it more than my tilt head one. if you're a big baker you may not realize the usual tilt head can't handle everything. The best item is the clip-on bowl cover that you can use to pour ingredients into the bowl, what a game changer since it clips on & actually works (versus the one for tilt head that has gaps & moves easily).
