Pluses and Minuses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Mix Master finally needed replacing, so I bought a KitchenAid. There are several things I like & dislike about it. I love the metal bowl with the handle for ease of handling. I love how easy it is to attach the beater. I love that there are several attachments you can add to perform several jobs with 1 appliance. However, it is VERY heavy & cumbersome. And with the deep bowl and moving beater I have difficulty adding ingredients without stopping the machine. There simply isn't enough room. I've mixed cookie and bread dough and it seems to do a decent job, though I did have to stop it in order to scrape down the sides.

My boys are now adults and gifted me a new one for Mother's Day. I love the newer model smooth look. High quality machine to help make great memories.

Love this mixer

I have had a kitchen aid mixer for 35 years and love love love them. My old one is a work horse and is still amazing, it has the fixed head. We bought a second family home so I just had to have another more up to date one. I wouldn't have any other mixer I even gave one to my daughter.

Wonderful Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MIxer works as advertised, and does a wonderful job of mixing the things I ask it to do. Have not used the slicer/shredder yet, but bought and have used a Pasta Making attachment that made wonderful spaghetti and noddles that my family loved. Plan on using it more in the future as our life together has just started.
