Motor gets hot and smells

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting this to be a heavy duty mixer. While making pasta dough with the hook the motor was seizing. I reduced the recipe by half (so from 8 to 4 servings) and the mixer still struggles and gets hot and emits a smell. I can’t imagine had I had the standard unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the large capacity. The ease of use. I bake a lot and large quantities. This allows me to do it at one time and not have to work in small batches. I love all my attachments and accessories.

I bought this product in January. Excited to use my mixer only to find out it doesn't work. I tried all the trouble shooting options. Nothing to my avail. I am in total tears as I had save up to get this upgrade from the previous one. All my money gone down the drain. The attachments are shedding, just too many issues for one mixer. I am very much disappointed

Buy the original stand mixer with base mount.

Buy the original stand mixer with the base mount. This thing is not great. The touch points do not even mix the ingredients without scraping the bowl every mix, down no matter how I adjust the screw located behind the bowl.

Don’t buy. They get broken less than a year and because it was made long time ago go like is you fault no help. Not worth the money. The controller is broken and you can control the speed.
