My husband just put these chairs together after he put stain on them. They don’t need stain but it brings out the grain in the wood. Beautiful chairs. They are not large chairs, more on the smaller side but perfect for the price!
This is a pretty good chair if you’re willing to put some elbow grease and don’t mind DIY projects. My husband told me to give 5 stars! We bought 4 of these: Pros: the drill holes are aligned and the directions are clear with pre-stamped numbers on the wood. They fold nicely. It’s actually a pretty good size- some people say it’s kid-sized, but my 240 lb husband fits pretty well and it’s sturdy. Cons: Need to lightly sand the wood because you can get splinters- but lightly sand only. Once sanded, it’s best to stain it or seal it, although I think it already comes with a sealant. Once sanded and stained, it’s so beautiful and comfortable! Especially if you put a cushion. Again, it’s only $50 something dollars each so you if you’re okay with spending some time putting it together and sealing it, you’ll be happy with your purchase.
The holes didn't all line up but my husband is good so not a big problem. They do tend to fold when you move them but they didn't cost too much so I won't complain.
