Not What I Expected

The chair looks much better in the picture. Nothing is together you have to put every piece in place. Many of the pieces split when you try to screw into the tiny holes. Also, one chair had two of the same pieces so I had to return it. I kept one because I sort of got it together after 2 1/2 hours. The folding part is not happening, my parents were excited but now they will have to share the one chair. Hope it doesn’t fall apart while they are sitting on it.

Difficult to put together but nice quality

Let me preface this by saying I’m not all that good putting furniture together. However, it took 3 of us finally to do so correctly. I feel that the directions weren’t extremely helpful and it came in many pieces. It’s probably my fault for assuming it wouldn’t come in SO MANY PIECES. Otherwise, the chair is decent quality and looks nice

Pretty easy to put together (I recommend laying everything out first), then 2 coats of seal and you're good! Will accent with some bright pillows on our front porch.

Better be handy!

Chairs arrived quickly and packaged well. Mfg. reported a 45 min. build time-no way! The instructions were comprehensive but some of the pre-marked areas were poorly done. I was a bit surprised that they also had some stain applied. I was expecting a natural finish so I could apply my own finish. Although they are not sealed for outdoor use. I did contact customer service and they were helpful.

Good quality and comfortable to sit in. One or two boards split when screwed together. They are perfect for our front porch but am not sure how well they would hold up in the elements? Overall very satisfied with our purchase. Fast shipping!

Cheap wood splinters badly

I bought two of these the other day for my bay/beach house on the coast, in the hopes that they would be a good purchase. I was wrong. These won't last the year. I was able to get one built without splintering the wood, but not the other one. I am supersized they recommend using a drill driver to put these together. I had my drill on the lowest setting and it still splintered the wood. These are just way too flimsy. I'm a normal size man, 200 pounds and every time I sit in one of these I'm afraid it will break. I'm very disappointed. Do not buy these stay away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
