Love the look and they are very comfortable, however it took nearly 2 hours of labor per chair, and noticed a long crack running the length of 1 of the arm pieces after it was already put together. Worried that it will crack soon and my husband will say, "I told you they were cheap chairs." Help me prove him wrong.
Putting this together was pretty easy as each piece is marked with a letter and number. The directions are very clear and they even give you a few extra screws, nuts and bolts. Storage is simple. I just hang them from a nail in my garage and they lay flat against the wall, which will be tremendously easy for winter. I love the comfort and the look of the unpainted wood. Many neighbors have complimented on them being a very great buy for the money.
I have been wanting an Adirondack type chair for my fire pit and found these at a great price. Although these chairs arrive in pieces, it was actually not difficult to put them together. I was able to put them together by myself. They are really comfortable and I would highly recommend them. They are also great for storage because they fold up. I am planning to stain them to hopefully help preserve the wood but I imagine they can be easily painted as well.
I'm born n raised in The Adirondacks. After being in FL for 32, my original chair I brought down w me, had seen better days. I even painted it turquoise to go w the beach. I love ur chair. Thanks for bringing home back to me n me back home.
