Much smaller than a *real ADK chair.

Sized for small people, like maybe little old ladies having yard tea. They're not very stable, a little rickety. The thickness of the wood is less than half of a *real Adirondack chair and overall, they're smaller. They do require a sealant/stain/paint, which is VERY time consuming - between assembly and two coats of Tung oil, 3+ hours per chair. They do look nice and I refer to them as our decorative chairs. The pre-drilled holes don't always line up right - best to eyeball fresh screw ins. You, like me, may receive some incorrect pieces - BCP will send replacements. On the plus side, the directions are clearly illustrated and the hardware was all there and of decent quality. I've seen some that use Acacia wood, which is stronger and more durable than the thin cuts of hemlock used with these. If you have the option, I would suggest you buy from the local Amish community rather than these so-so chairs from China.

Nice, but...

Not well made. Disappointed

I read the reviews because the price just seemed to cheap for Adirondack chairs. With 4.1 stars, I thought it was worth trying them out.
I purchased 4 chairs on May 23rd. Everything arrived fine and no problems assembling the chairs. Initially I found them to be a little flimsy but also liked the light weight and ability to fold the chairs. It’s been 2 months and have used them a couple of times. One is already broken. I can’t recommend these chairs - the quality while at first seemed okay…is really below expectations even for the price. I am surprised the overall rating is so high on them.

I purchased 2 Adirondack chairs.
They arrived quickly and were securely packaged.
Beautiful wood and easy to put together. Instructions were easy to follow.
They look great with the convertible bench/picnic table.
The chairs are very comfortable.
I do not see how to upload a phot as I took a photo of the set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chairs are very comfortable, more so than you could imagine. They were a little difficult to put together as the guide drill holes didn’t always line up. I re-drilled the pilot holes. One piece of wood cracked, but I was able to redrill and fix it. Best part is they are foldable!!! I wanted to be able to move them from the pool area, and the standard Adirondack chairs would be too heavy. Friends and family choose these chairs when in the porch. I stained the, for weather protection. We’ll see how study they are as it,Ed goes by. Great buy! Great value for then,only!,

I would’ve given you five stars but some of the parts the wooden parts were cracked had to glue and clamp other than that I stained both of them and they’re pretty dang comfortable
