Outstanding Design & Performance

Have had one of these for several years. They are beautifully engineered and constructed. A marvelous utility to have for cleaning anything without the risk of damage that the larger versions carry. Packs away in our tiny shed easily. A great product.

An Awesome Machine

I bought this unit about 6 weeks ago and other than power washing 10ft of deck, I really didn't have a chance to put it through it paces.
Today after winterizing the camper, I thought I would try the soap attachment to see if it worked as advertised. Boy did it!! I filled the tank half full with Dawn dish washing liquid and turned it on. Within 10 seconds I had loads of soapy liquid coming out of the nozzle. I would soap down one side of the camper and my wife came behind me with an extension brush to scrub it down. I followed behind her with the wide fan tip and rinsed it off. We had the whole camper done in less than 30 minutes. There was enough soap left in the detergent tank to wash the cars.
The unit is lightweight, easy to use and is a great purchase. I highly recommend it.

Good for smaller projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pressure washer is great for washing you car or boat or other smaller projects but it lacks the power for larger projects like washing your house or other large items. The first one I got leaked bad from the water inlet valve due to not being assembled correctly. Greenworks sent an additional unit to replace it and seems to be fine. I also had an issue with the tips, they were clogged with manufacturing residue and it took me a while to figure out what the issue was since no water came out of the gun like it was broken. These are good sprayers and work well, seem to be built fairly solidly. I would recommend them for anyone wanting to wash their car or deck or other smaller projects.

Great for Townhouse Use!

I have a townhouse and our homeowners association contracts to do most of the exterior work. It's great because it frees up a lot of my time to do things other than yard work, except this means that I'm tied to their schedule, like power washing the outside of my house once every three years. There's been a lot of construction in our neighborhood which has left a fine coat of red clay dust on our patios. I wanted to clean it off for the holiday season (family guests), so I bought this power washer because I didn't want some huge package (townhouse remember).
It worked great for what I need! Small package, reliable, easy to use and store. Now I know it's not some massive industrial heated tool, but it's absolutely just right for what I do at my house. Since purchase, I've used it to clean my patios, the patio furniture, decking, siding, and my cars ... after cleaning off the brake drum dust off the wheels of my old beater jaguar, it actually cleared the "stability control failure light". Honestly, I don't care if it knocked off the sensor; it's worth the purchase price of the power washer just to get rid of the annoyance light (remember daily commuter beater car).
I'd definitely recommend this power washer for any homeowner who just needs a tool for maintenance kind of cleaning. I haven't had any issues with it at all. Now I do have limited space in the townhouse, so after each use, I make sure to drain the lines and store it where it can't freeze in the wintertime. But overall, I'm really satisfied with this power washer and after letting a few of my neighbors borrow it, one actually went out and purchased one also.

Finally, a Pressure Washer I don't mind using!

My Mechanical Engineering Hat on, my first thought: Wow, this is small, probably wimpy performance... Well, that was my first incorrect analysis, of several. Actually it's very handy to tote around, everything has a place on the unit. I wanted to clean off some Patio furniture and the Birdbath, so I figured I'd have to pull out my extension cord..well, wrong again, the unit has a VERY long power cord. I was able to plug it in the garage and was able to use it 50' out in the yard. Hookups were very smooth, nothing leaked anywhere (I have a full sized [gas] Pressure Washer, that I hate to use, it floods my yard). That brings up my Epiphany, I don't use the Big Washer because I'd rather not deal with it at all, it's just too strong for some areas (removed paint on my Jeep...(Oops) and IF it starts, leaks as I mentioned and runs constantly. This unit only makes a sound when you use it (squeeze the trigger), otherwise it's so quiet I can hear the Wife calling me (a plus for Her I suppose, me, not so much).
All in all, it's a washer I actually will use, without thinking of reasons NOT to wash something. Very handy, very light, very portable and user friendly. Good work by the design team at Greenworks!

Proof Good Things Come in Small Packages!

After owning Gas powered pressure washers for over 20 years, I can honestly say I wish I had tried an electric unit years ago. Compact, easy to use and powerful. The quick disconnect nozzles are easy to change and clean. The soap dispenser takes seconds to attach and makes car washing a breeze. The hose is braided steel coated with rubber so it doesn't scratch the vehicle. Much quieter than my gas unit, with none of the "recoil" or pulsing from the pump which causes fatigue. The hose could be longer, but the unit is so light and portable, moving around with it is not an issue. Be sure to prime the pump by running water through the hose and wand before turning on the unit.

Perfect for the application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased an average-sized house on a 1/4 acre lot. The back patio and siding don't see much sun, so they both grow mold and other things. Once thing I really needed was a pressure washer.
I have a few tools in the 40V Greenworks line, which was my introduction to the company. All of those products proved to be dependable, easy to use, no-frills tools. This pressure washer is no different. There is a 6-step explainer (with pictures) right under the handle, in case you're never used a pressure washer before. Once the water was in and primed, I fired this thing up and vwalah, it is exactly what you might hope for. I had to take it within about 2 inches to get the deep stuff out of the cement, and to get the mildew off, but once I got that close and took it at a steady pace, it had no problem leaving my siding looking like new and the cement looking years younger, even without any cleaning product. I haven't used this on the cars yet, but I'm certain from this experience that I'll be satisfied with that as well.
Some tools under-perform their value, others over-perform while still others are lemons. This one is exactly what you should expect for the money you're paying, and I expect it to be a useful part of my tool shed for a long time.
