I've had this pressure washer for 1.5 years and it worked good the few times I used it. first the soap quit dispensing when I tried to wash the cars.just wanted to wash the cars again and it's not working. GFIC tripped even though it didn't get wet. reset it and the breaker is fine but the pressure doesn't work at all! not happy about this, just after the warranty expired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing. We are sorry to hear the unit is tripping; we would like to offer some suggestions to help improve your experience with this tool.
Nozzles with smaller holes put out more pressure, and nozzles with bigger holes put out less pressure. These different nozzles with their different pressures can be useful for different tasks.
If the smaller hose of the nozzle becomes clogged, the more clogged it becomes, the smaller the hole becomes, which means higher pressure. Higher pressure means more work for the motor and the pump. If you are finding the pressure washer is not function as expected we suggest clearing the blockage in your nozzle and prevent over-exerting your pressure washer, follow these few steps.
Remove the nozzle, if you clear the blockage without taking the nozzle off, it’ll likely just clog again. Hold the nozzle by the sides with the front of the nozzle facing you, then using the cleaning tool or a straightened paperclip, try digging and poking the blockage backwards out of the hole then try pushing the clog back the way it came. Rinse the nozzle thoroughly front and back. Replace the nozzle and go.
If the nozzle remains clogged, remove it and try clearing it out again. Just remember that reversing the clog is the best way to unclog it. Push it back the way it came from. If you have a lot of trouble getting it unclogged, put the nozzles you’re using in a warm solution of 1 part vinegar, 3 parts water, for 30 minutes, to break up any calcification inside then try using the nozzles on your pressure washer, pressing the trigger and turning the motor on at the exact same time.
If you are using an extension cord try plugging the pressure washer directly into the receptacle. We do not recommend using an extension cord - however, if one needs to be used then use a 25' 12 gauge for a longer reach, 50' 12 or 10 gauge, but if you notice any loss in performance then stop using the cord immediately, nothing longer than 50'.

Broke first use

Just purchased today and on the first use water started gushing from the supply line on the compressor side. Double checked to make sure the hose was tight and noticed the connector to the unit was broken and the o-ring blew out. Cost was good but I guess you get what you pay for.

Water outlet broke

Power washer worked great until it no longer had pressure.. I gave the unit a little shake and heard something rattling around. Took it apart and found the outlet for the hose on the motor had broke. Appears to be some kind of design issue as I've read several other reviews of the same issue. Get what you pay for. Unlikely to buy a Green Works product again. Unit was purchased Summer 2016.

Powerful tool and easy to use

I was in need of a powerful and easy to use pressure washer to prep my house for a DIY exterior paint job and thankfully my neighbor let me borrow their Greenworks 2200 PSI pressure washer. I was doubtful that it would get the job done, but man this thing cut thru the grime and got the job done. I loved it so much that I had to own one. In addition to washing the house, I realized how desperately my driveway needed to be pressure washed! It's amazing how much value to your home a little pressure washing can add.
Right from the start the machine worked well and I used it to clean the exterior of my home, driveway, backyard patio and side walkway. Over the course of 6 weeks, I used it approximately 10 times without any problems that other reviews stated.

Ouch

Bought last week and just started using it. Tip jammed andwould not come out on first day of use. Continued to use turbo tip then it blew off. Now will not seal around any tip.

We are sorry to hear of the issue you have experienced with this Greenworks 2000 PSI pressure washer. To attach the nozzle please follow these steps here:
1. Turn off the pressure washer and shut off the water supply. Pull trigger to release water pressure.
2. Engage the lock-out on the trigger handle by pushing the trigger lock down until it locks into the slot.
3. Pull out the desired spray tip from the tip storage on the handle.
4. Pull back the quick-connect collar on the spray wand.
5. Push the spray tip into place in the spray wand.
6. Push the collar forward so that the spray tip is secured properly. Check to see that the spray tip is secure.

Awful and frustrating

Will not run for more than few seconds at a time. Worked with it over two hours and tried on three different outlets. Probably shut off 300 times. Completely unreliable and I will be returning. Simply awful.

Shorting out

I had the unit for around 3 months. It worked for me 3 times. Today, it keeps tripping all of my GFI outlets. I tried it in multiple outlets with the same result. Something is shorting internally or the motor is drawing way too much current. Something isn’t right. It will run for about 2 minutes and then trips the GFI. I’m very disappointed. I keep the unit indoors so it has never been left outside. Unfortunately I can’t find the receipt so I am stuck with it.

If the tool is tripping the circuit breaker allow the Pressure Washer to cool, and restart unit. The GWP2200 has an extremely high draw. As it increases and decreases the flow rate according to the nozzle being used, it can surge. We advise that extension cords are not used with this unit and for it to be the solitary device attached to the outlet. No other larger tools/appliances running at the same time. If your unit is still not performing, please contact us directly at 1-888-909-6757 we can look into some troubleshooting suggestions or recommend the nearest service center.

Good....but, disappointed with soap dispensor

Soap dispensor only shoots it out a few feet...what are you to do about those areas that are higher....if wand reaches higher places, the soap dispensor should also reach that high. Any suggestions ?
