This works well enough for a small electric PW. It took a long time to do our large deck, but the wood had a lot of mold and damage. Can't say how durable it is yet, but that it's still working!

Disapointing

I was given this unit as a fathers day gift, I tried to use it for the third time today and it runs but does not produce steady power and the unit runs for a minute or so after stopping. Water is on all of the way and there is nothing else running on the circuit I am using. Something I could have used but not worth the money my Son's family spent on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear of the challenge you are experiencing with the 1700 PSI Electric Pressure Washer (5103902). Air in the water line or hose can create an unstable flow which creates the chugging and intermittent use. To fix this bleed the air out of the garden hose prior to attaching to pressure washer to the hose, and once it is attached bleed out the pressure washer while the tip is removed from the wand. Depending on hose length and diameter this could take 60 to 120 seconds. We bought the 1950 PSI model and it arrived with a broken handle. They were out of stock so we upgraded to the 2000 PSI model. We are very happy with our purchase!! We used it to power wash our home and fence and we are very pleased with the results. We were intimidated by gas powered washers and this model is very easy to use and has the power to do the job. It’s not for industrial use but it works great for jobs around the house like home, fence, patio and outside furniture, car, etc. It’s compact vertical design is also a plus as it takes very little space and the gun and nozzles have their own convenient space on the unit. The only issue we saw was that the instructions say not to use with an extension cord so we were limited with the distance we could go away from the house. It didn’t reach our fence farthest from our home so we weren’t able to complete that part of the job. Still very, very happy with our purchase.

Unit vibrates

This machine functioned well the first three times I used it. By the 4th use, it began vibrating so much, I couldn't hold the sprayer for any length of time. The vibration was so bad, I thought I would get nerve damage in my hand! Everything was set up just the same as it had been the other times I used it, and the troubleshooting guide does not address vibration. I am very disappointed. Now I have a machine I can't use.

Poor product

I had this unit for 8 months and used 7 times to wash my car. Today I tried to use it again for my monthly car wash and it just won‘t turn on. I fried to reset the power, but still won‘t work.

We would need to discuss your experience with your 1800 PSI Electric Pressure Washer (5101402) further in order to assist you because it could be a couple of things that are causing this. It may be an issue with the water supply, check there are no kinks, or the garden hose is not too small. Or it could be that the pump is sucking air, check that all hoses and fittings are airtight. Turn the device OFF and purge the pump to alleviate any air pressure that has built up. Please make sure you purge the unit before each use. It’s important to remember when purging the unit to remove the nozzle on the end of your wand and make sure there are no kinks in any of the hoses and the unit is receiving pressurized water of at least 50 P.S.I. If issues persist, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com for further assistance. I just bought this pressure washer because I had cleared my deck for Hurricane Dorian's arrival, and saw how desperately it needed a cleaning. I am very pleased with its performance and how accessible the hook-ups and nozzles are. It also has nice long cords and hoses.
