I received the power washer a few months ago and it works as advertised. The assembly was straightforward and it is easy to use! The unit has strong power and works consistently each time I have used it. My driveway, garage, and first floor of my home have never been cleaner! Has anyone tried reaching their second floor level? I would definitely recommend this power washer to others.

Having recently purchased a mountain home, it was obvious that the deck, while well built and in good condition, was weathered, dirty and needed power washing and a penefin oil application. The deck is made of Brazilian Walnut, and the 1800psi washer I borrowed from a friend was simply not up to the task of cleaning the deck efficiently. I gave up with that machine and set out to research power washers. I did not want the hassle of a gas powered power washer, and after a lot of internet research I chose the Pro 2799 from Greenworks. WOW! What a difference! It has plenty of power, and functioned flawlessly as I powered through my project. It seems the deck had not been power washed in a long time, but now should be an easy task once in the spring and once in the fall. By the way, the unit is well packaged and easy to put together. Thanks!

missing parts

Missing parts when opened box.
I bought this on May 10th 2021 and when I opened it a few weeks later to use I discovered there were some parts missing. The pamphlet says not to return it to store to contact Greenworks instead. I did and am awaiting response back.

Broke on first use

Stopped working after I turned it on for the first time. No tripped house breakers, according to troubleshooting guide, everything should be fine. Will not turn on.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your pressure washer. Unfortunately, your review is not detailed enough for us to know what the issue is, but we will try to cover all bases. Here you will find some troubleshooting suggestions for you to try.
1. Cleaning Obstructed Nozzles: To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction.
2. Removing Air from The Line / Bleeding Out the Unit: Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit.
3.Lastly, ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60PSI. There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. Please note this product has a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. If you have tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, please contact Greenworks at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com.

Still waiting for replacement, first pressure washer leaked oil everywhere

The engine leaked oil all over the garage and driveway I was trying to pressure wash clean. The oil was clear so I didn't notice it until the water dried. Still waiting to get the unit replaced - painful customer experience for a pressure washer. Seemed like it could be good if I ever get it replaced... it has been a month already and no shipping info for a replacement.

Super easy to assemble but easier to use. Purchased it to wash our patio but I already cleaned sidewalks, washed cars, stripped old paint from door frame, and the list goes on. The only knock is on the customer service for order updates, called two times and spent a total of 4 hours waiting. . . when I finally did speak to someone I was put on hold twice for an additional 30 minutes each time.

Wheel fell of with normal use!! It came off the metal part from the welding. I haven’t even had this unit a year! It looks it it was corroded off due to water. Isn’t it supposed to withstand water?! It is a water pressure right?!
