Major disappointment!

Bought this 2300 green works pressure washer at the end off summer last year. I used it once to spray off my car. My plans was to use it to clean driveway so zu can seal it and to clean the siding. It runs for 30 seconds and shuts off. Maybe thermal overloads. It was coming back on but after the 3rd time cycling this way it does do anything. Unplugged it test GFCI. What’s the deal… this thing has been used once for 10 minutes. Very very unhappy with this product!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. It sounds as though your nozzles may be clogged or there is some air trapped in the unit, these are common issues. With the following troubleshooting, this should be resolved! Please be sure to follow closely as these steps are not as effective when altered.
1) To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction.
2) Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit.
3) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 45PSI.
4) There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure.

Hose is pathetically ineffective with holding pressure

Hose running off of power washer was not able to 1) maintain power and 2) the cable BURST after 2 hours of usage and could not maintain pressure at all. Totally pathetic product. Don't waste your money. The tubing used on this is shotty at best

Don't waste your money. First time used it worked, Second time it worked after trouble shooting, third time didn't work. Tried all the troubleshooting advice with no luck. Threw it in the garbage.

This is by far the best pressure washer I have ever used. The auto shut off when not in use was a surprising and unexpected thing. My father owns a large hotsy pressure washer. It has a boiler to heat water and is great for large industrial machines. However it doesn’t have an auto shut off so you have to make sure not to leave the machine on without the water flowing. I had an old residential one which the pump went out on. The Greenworks washer is very simple to use. It is powerful enough for home use yet light and small enough to move around and store. My only complaint is the soap. While I love the one board soap tank. It uses quite a bit of soap. My more than an other washer I have used. The way it is designed the soap is used everytime the water flow is low. I find this often leaves soap residue because with the auto shut off. It takes a second of water flowing before it kicks on. This draws the soap into the line when I really don’t want it to. I simple fix may be to add a flow value to turn on off and control the amount of soap the machine draws. Other than that I love it and will recommend it to anyone.

Much stronger stream than you can get with a hose but I was disappointed with its range. To really get the grime, baked on dirt and pollen/sidewalk stains, I had to have the nozzle about 4-6” away from the area. It works great when you can achieve that distance but it was useless to reach the second story and eaves of my house. But it’s light to move about and much more pleasant to use than gas powered washers I have rented before. I’m happy with the purchase but wish it was less expensive because of its limited areas I can use it.

It works ok but the delay in power spray makes it awkward

The machine was easy to assemble and seem well built, but the power level doesn't seem as strong as you would expect. Additionally, the 3-4 second delay between pulling the trigger and the power spray is really inconvenient and makes for an odd working experience.
