Applying a small amount of silicone grease to the O-ring can also help improve the seal. For the pressure cycling, this is often related to inconsistent water supply or air in the system—please confirm the garden hose is unrestricted, the water source is fully open, and the inlet filter is clean. Before starting, squeeze the trigger with the unit off and nozzle removed to purge any trapped air.
