110v Electric vs Gasoline Great - Battery Powered Equipment Problems

Replaced my gas pressure washer with Greenworks electric . . . . . figure I extended my lifespan by a few years by eliminating the stress and fatigue of using the old gas model.
Did the same switch from gas to Greenworks battery air blower with lesser results. Original battery only lasted about a month, maybe 5-6 recharges, and the replacement (and expensive) battery seems to hold a shorter and shorter charge with use after about 10-12 recharges. Great equipment but batteries suck.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall a good product but I am on my second greenworks pressure washer and they both have had issues with the motor stopping, even after just 5 minutes of use. The only way to get the motor to reset is to unplug the unit at the power source and then plug it back in. Company support has been difficult to come by.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Especially, since it seems that you have two units experiencing the same problem. Please know that this pressure washer model carries a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. In the meantime, this issue can be caused by a few factors such as excess air trapped in the pump, clogged nozzles or no nozzle being installed.
Here you will find some troubleshooting suggestions to resolve these issues.
1) To clean the nozzles, soak all of your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction.
2) Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit.
3) Ensure a nozzle is connected.
4) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60PSI.
5) There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water from going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. Please note this product has a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Lots of power and convenience

Purchase this power washer to clean a wooden deck to remove moss and mildew. It did an excellent job. I then used it to clean off my concrete patio and it made the pad look like new. Lots of power, easy to use!

The reason I am giving this machine 4 out of 5 stars is because the hose fittings on the machine are uncomfortable loose. They feel like their going to break. And also the pressure hose holder at the back of the machine has a clumsy mounting system. The manual does not clearly show how to properly mount the bracket, it’s annoying.But other than that it seems to be a good machine. It is just what I need, I think I made a good choice.
