The pump failed on it after 3 years of very light use. Very disappointed.

Poor first impression

I bought this today and was cleaning my patio but after about 20 min, it wouldn't provide pressure anymore. The power was on. I turned it off, unplugged it, powered it back up and then it started working again. But then after another 10 min, it stopped working. This is very disconcerting. I'm sure I followed all the instructions.
Is there anything that may explain this behavior. I'm inclined to return it and buy a different brand at this point.

Thank you for choosing Greenworks! It sounds as though your nozzles may be clogged or there is some air trapped in the unit, these are common issues. With the following troubleshooting, this should be resolved! Please be sure to follow closely as these steps are not as effective when altered.
1) To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction.
2) Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit.
3) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60 PSI.
4) There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure.

WASHING IS SO EASY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this electric pressure washer to replace an old gas model with a pull string starter. WHAT A DREAM TO ONLY HAVE TO PUSH A BUTTON TO START! With all the different nozzles I didn't have to worry about damaging the various surfaces I washed. I washed my kids front door, their concrete stoop, siding, sidewalk and bricks and they all came out so clean like new!!!
