Only buy if you want new rosters updates

This game has taken more stuff out than added in years past. Sucks to be a hockey fan knowing that the only game we have is this. Unfortunately if you like playing by your self this game has lost its fun with multiple players online with past options and features. Very poor when a game 10 yeats ago was better online.

NHL games these days only cater to people who have never played an NHL game before. Or those that just want to play the latest NHL iteration. EA makes sure to send out those early review copies to people who never played NHL games before to build that hype, but that hype dies 2 months after the game releases. EA has no incentive to make a great, long lasting NHL game anymore.

I only play is Season mode so I know nothing of the other features. They finally got the D-Men attacking incoming forwards. In previous versions it was too easy to come down the wing and get a good shot away.

This game is so bad. I stopped buying the games in after NHL 18 but tried again.. immediately regretted it. DO NOT BUY

Online nightmare

If you combine all the online issues 19, and 20 had, you may be close to the amount 21 has. I spend more time waiting for a failed connection then I do playing. I’m actually back playing 20 again lol.
