Works on most computers

I have this monitor and it works on my Dell computers but I recently got a HP EliteBook computer from work and it will not connect. Is there a driver or anything I need to install on my computer to get this to connect?

Poor quality monitor

I have been using this since the middle of February. I only work part time about 15-20 hours per week and my monitor does not work properly. It turns on and off at random times and the connection through the cables does not seem to be working correctly. I take good care of this, and it is protected in my work bag, so I am very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
