Beautiful Results, Poor Reliability

The T3 Afar Travel Dryer delivers excellent performance—until it stops working altogether. I’m now on my second unit, and both have failed in the same way. Because I use this dryer exclusively for travel, I can account for its usage precisely: exactly 18 times over the past three years (and one of those years, it wasn’t used at all).
It worked perfectly yesterday while I was on vacation, but today the heat stopped completely. This is not related to the cool-shot button. I’ve tested every setting. However, I suspect that the internal mechanism tied to that button may be prone to sticking, which appears to be a recurring design flaw.
For the price, this product should last significantly longer than a handful of uses. I handle and store it with exceptional care, yet it has failed twice under minimal use. It’s especially disappointing to be without a working dryer so early in my trip, day 2 of 10 days.
In summary, while the T3 Afar produces beautiful results when functional, its lack of durability makes it difficult to recommend.

DONT BUY if you’re looking for something that will last. Heat element stop working. Only cool air. Just pass the warranty window, so I can’t do anything about it. I only blow dry my hair maybe once every other week, so it’s not from over use.

No Heat After A Couple Uses

I bought this hair dryer about a year ago to use for travel, particularly international travel, and the last two times I’ve taken it on trips, the heat totally goes away after the first 10 seconds of use. I splurged on a high end brand to have reliable dual voltage and the calibur of hair drying I have from my full size T3 hair dryer, and ended up only getting to use it a couple times before it stopped working properly. This hair dryer is far too expensive for that level of quality. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The duración time is short

I’m not sure what the expected lifetime is, but it’s annoying that after only one year it’s starting to smell like it’s burning. Also, there’s no cap to open the filter and clean it.

Broke too soon

Second T3 dryer already, long time fan. This one is Great for travel, just broke too soon, it is no longer heated after several use. Wish someone can fix it as it is still new! I only use it when traveling
