Great compact waffle maker. Very quick! Heats up in 2-4 minutes depending on setting, then each waffle takes only about 2 minutes. Very nonstick, baked the waffles well. Deducted 1 star because on max (5) it still doesn't get very dark or crispy, but they are sufficiently baked. And a Great value.

The Cuisinart waffle iron is a joy to use! I make up my own recipe adding oatmeal and maple syrup to the mix. The waffles never stick , the lights give an accurate time for the waffles to be done making it fool proof to use. I looked at many brands and trust the Cuisinart brand name when shopping for kitchen appliances.
