So far seems to work great and my cloths are actually getting clean. Love the easy to use controls and the little tune it plays at the start.

Pretty happy so far

I don’t like not being able to use fabric softener without running an extra rinse cycle. Using the automatic settings for filling don’t use enough water and some clothes don’t even get wet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GE Commercial Brand washer & dryer
on April 13, 2026

We are extremely dissatisfied with our GE commercial washer & dryer set. In the first year we had repairs on the washer several times and concerns on the dryer length of time to dry, which I believe had to do with the wetness of the clothes from the washer. The standard motor used is the same size motor as in the regular size and if I had known that I would not have bought this set/model. After less than 2 years we had so many repairs (practically a total rebuild) we were given a new washer. The wetness of the clothes, the loudness, the ability of the washer to handle a normal size load was still unsatisfactory. So much so, that we bought a new washer and dryer after only two and half years of ownership.

We apologize that you’ve had multiple issues with your washer and dryer, and we’d like to look into your situation. As you’re still having an issue with sound and clothes being too wet with your replacement washer, we recommend ensuring the appliance is leveled; this will help the washer to stay balanced, which may assist with both an issue with the sound level and with the clothes being too wet at the end of the cycle. Clothes being too wet is discussed on page 26 of the manual, which is linked here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--AKgAhUAs--/r4yctjlrytehsjedypih.pdf. The manual also has information about what sounds you may hear on page 27.
Regarding the amount of time it takes the dryer to dry, besides considering how wet the clothes are from the washer, we also recommend checking the ducting to ensure it’s not obstructed. Additional information about what to try for an issue with long drying times is available in this article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058.
If you still have the washer and dryer in your possession and think service is needed, our Bodewell team is available at 1-833-426-3393. They are open Monday – Friday, 8AM – 8PM ET, and an appointment can be scheduled online as well, at this link: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
We’ll be reaching out over email to discuss your situation further. We look forward to hearing back from you, so we can assist.

Basic washer

The washing machine gets off balance too easily. When you push pause it takes too long for the tub to stop in order for the door to unlock. The place to where you put the fabric softener it throws it all over the machine and does not rinse it off.

We are more than happy to provide guidance with this washer and its balancing. Loading has a direct effect on the balancing of this washer. It is advised to load dry items loosely in the washer basket. For best results, load items evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket, filling in towards the center on larger loads. We also recommend ensuring that the washer is properly leveled. All four washer leveling legs will need to be adjusted until the washer is level left to-right and front-to-back. To level the washer, adjust the leveling legs by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction for up or down. We also recommend using the Deep Rinse feature when using fabric softener.

Mixed feelings
on April 25, 2026

Bought it for the long warranty. The washer does a good job, but if it gets off balance, it just stops with the lid locked. Unlike previous machines where I was always able to manually rebalance the load. I also requested a paper copy of the manual ) (last December) that was supposed to be available on request, but never received it. I have to restart with the drain and spin cycle.

If I don't have sheets or towels in, it is fine.

I cannot wash a queen size set of flannel sheets without a problem with spin cycle. They get bunched up, uneven, spin cycle makes a terrible noise. I have to stop it, open it, straighten out the sheets and have difficulty getting the washer to start again in the cycle. I have the same problem with a large bath towel. I can't leave the washer running and go very far away from it. I am disappointed. I threw away a four month old Maytag with the same problems when I got this one. This one is better than the Maytag but definitely not as good as I hoped it would be. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We would like to help and provide some guidance. One thing to check is to make sure that your unit is level and on even ground. While most large comforters and blankets will wash properly in your model unit, we recommend only loading items in top load washers that will fit below the balance ring of the washer tub without being tightly stuffed into the tub. We have an article from our website with more helpful information at the link here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=35644&_gl=1*. If the issue continues, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our Bodewell Service Team so they can come to inspect your unit by calling 1-833-426-3393 or online here: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.

Disappointed
on May 1, 2026

Dear GE, I have to tell you that I am very DISsatisfied with this purchase. I read all the instruction diligently before using the washer, following all recommendations. I did not overload the washer, as was always my habit. BUT the dark loads came out with lint all over the clothes. Most of it would not come out with a lint roller, or when I even tried to scratch it off. I methodically had to try various ways to make it work. The only solution was to load a lot less clothes in the washer, and add extra rinse cycle... and this is supposed to be an energy efficient machine!
I contacted the business I purchased it from and they are kind enough to take it back with a restocking fee. Needless, to say, I am very disappointed as I expected no issues with a GE product.

We understand that you have already returned your washer. We’re happy that the retailer was able to assist you. Overloading can prevent lint from being flushed away during the washing process as well as increase the effect of clothes rubbing against one another and generating lint. Please review the following link that will give you some additional helpful information on lint.
We always recommend reaching out to us directly for product assistance so that we can work with you toward a resolution before a return is necessary; we’re always here to help.
