I bought this severa weeks ago and it works and looks great. I have had different LGs inclusing washer and dryers and they have all worked great. The last qustion is not for me. I did no receive this product free. I purchased it and yes I would like to be in a sweepstakes to get a free one or any other LLG product.

2 cons you want to know about. When you change channels, it takes 4 to 5 seconds to get rid of the poor definition of the screen then it sharpens up. I have installed Cat6 data cable (hard wired) to the fasted Cox internet speed they have to offer. Very annoying. Second, for the price. Why not have a back-lit display on the remote? I have to use my phones light to see the buttons in the dark.
