Needed replacement operating just fine.

Needed replacement for non working oldie is working just fine. Happy to have an economy setting to save on usage which my oldie didn't have and which caused it to operate too much and too often, contributing to its eventual failure. Now operable at lower settings, the new one performs much better, thank you.

Great compact window air conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great compact air conditioner. It is easier to carry and store with it's compact modern design. It isn't quieter while in operation. The noise level is about the same as a traditionally sized unit. You can't win them all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The air conditioner works really well in my bedroom and cools the room very quickly. My only criticism is the lack of any visible indication that the unit is still on when it’s in Eco mode. Once the room reaches the set temperature, the fan stops and the unit becomes completely silent, then starts up again when the room warms up. Since there’s no light or other indication that it’s still operating, I’ve accidentally left it on overnight a few times. A simple indicator light would make this much easier to notice.

OK but not great

My space's size is at the upper end of the rating for this 6000 BTU machine. It does not cool that space quickly (I previously has an 8000 BTU air conditioner that cooled it down very fast). Also the louvers don't adjust as much a I would like to direct the airflow. And the controls have so many options, it is not always clear which settings to use.

Loud and Not Cooling. Would not Recommend

I have a Frigidaire air condtioner and have had very good luck with and no problems. I wanted to upgrade and I just bought 6000 BTU air conditioner 4 days ago and it is very noisy and not quiet. Also cooling part keeps shutting off and on every few minutes. Very disappointed with this air condtioner and would not recommend
