gas controls are great. The grates are poor quailty and grease control is very difficult
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Relatively easy to assemble. Had an issue with the electronic lighter but after adjusting it (several different times and ways) it now works perfect. Only 1 minor issue... The tank doesn't sit flush in the round opening in the lower shelf. Everytime I turn on or off the gas valve the tanks shifts quite a bit. No biggie tho, not a deal breaker. Overall, very happy, cooks great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying your grill. The tank should not shift around like that. Have you checked to make sure that the tank thumbscrew is not causing the issue? The tank thumbscrew is shown on step fourteen in the assembly manual. we have used it many times, and really like to have something that heats up quickly and doesn't have to be watched every minute - much easier to control the flare-ups. nice and spacious, too.

Not worth my money

I bought this for my boyfriend last year from my girls on fathers day and I had problems as early as 3 months later. Went into my place of purchase about the ignition switch that broke already and they ordered a knob. Returned the knob and explained that this was not what I needed and they supposed to order the right part. No part ordered and flames inside began to grow higher as we used it and now are so out of control that you can not close the lid. This has been the worst purchase I have made in a long time. I am not a women with a lot of money so I am very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
