[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because it is so lightweight my 80 year mother can still sweep her hard wood floors which makes her feel useful. I do not recommend using it as the only sweeper or on carpet but if you have a lot of wooden floors then it is perfect. Plus it has a very long cord on it so that is a big plus. All around great little Vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Bissell featherweight for years. I clean condos, so it's important for me to have something easy to tote around, yet strong enough to vacuum up all the sand, hair, etc. I love my older model, it's perfect. I don't know why y'all changed it to where it will no longer lay down flat to vacuum underneath surfaces. It won't vacuum up anything underneath a table, bed, stool, etc., unlike the older version. Such a disappointment! I've had to switch back to my old one, although I've had to rig the handle that is broken,, because I've been using it for so many years. Please go back to the old model that is usable underneath surfaces.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE THIS LIGHTWEIGHT STICK VACUUM.....It was exactly what I was looking for....I use it everyday as I have a rug under my dining table...therefore there is always crumbs so the vac has been made part of my kitchen clean up... The only negative I have found is the electrical cord is rather short....
