This is our second one of this model. The first lasted 9 years of almost daily use. It's not meant for carpet, but does a great job cleaning hard tile or wood floors and is light enough a small kid can use it easily!

I have used the Bissell Stick vacuum for probably 25 years or more. I use it on my hardwood floors, to clean out tiny crevices in the sliding glass door, it works great for cleaning out the spider webs in the window wells of the basement, to clean under furniture, and have even used it to vacuum the mats in my car. Because it is so light weight, I use it to vacuum the windows blinds and the cobwebs in the ceiling corners. We adopted two kittens two years ago and the Bissell has met the challenge of all the cat hair as well as the bit of messy kitty litter the cats leave outside their litter box. We just purchased our third Bissell Stick vacuum for somewhere around $30.00 and will continue buy them for as long as they are available. You truly cannot beat the price for the service they provide.

I am so very pleased with this product. suction power very good. Like the cord connection as I can keep on cleaning with it and not worry about the battery running down. Gets in all those places the big heavy vacuum wont go. Great for me as I am not very strong now.
