I love this vacuum!! I have been buying bissell vacs for years but this one is terrific. It reaches under furniture easily and has good suction. It is great on floors but it even works on carpets if you want a quick pick-up.
Did you think you would never have a dog and suddenly you inherit a one? And not just any dog but shedding Bulldog in your house that looks alot like a China shop? Well, have no fear, Bissell Featherweight is here. This new Featherweight handles tough messes with ease, and it's latest features including a built in filter make it a breeze to use. Thanks, Bissell
This is my second Bissell stick vac. I have no carpeting. I have an open-concept house. I have a dog that is responsible for most floor dirt. I am a senior citizen and the stick vac is better for me than dragging around a heavy vacuum. It picks up well and is easy to empty. Having said that, what I don't like is the cord is shorter than my previous model, making it necessary to move from plug to plug. Also, the body does not seem to be made of sturdy material. The wheels especially should be made of longer-lasting plastic. Unfortunately, this new one, although the same as my first one, cost twice as much. However, since it costs a fraction of the bigger, better vacuums, I can afford to replace it every few years. So...all in all, I'm satisfied. I was given a cordless Bissell, which I returned to the gift-giver. It started losing its charge in just a few minutes, not worth the cost of the electricity it used to keep it charged.
