The thickness has come down from the Weber Grill cover I purchased 15 years ago, but it doesn’t feel “cheaper”. It allows better usage with a single person, since it isn’t as bulky.

This is a great grill. My third Weber gas grill. Only issue is that I bought the stainless steel model however the grease drip collection pan is not stainless steel which is very surprising. My old grill is 14 years old and had a stainless steel collection pan. The only issue that I had with the old grill was the grease pan which corroded away in around 10 yrs. The new grill has improved burners which heat up very quickly.
